Now be able to format your webpage for web-enabled phones, the iphone and itouchWouldn’t it be great to be able to connect to the pm411.org Project Management Podcast website formatted for your web-enabled mobile phone? 

Well, I found a great plugin for Wordpress called Mowser that detects whether a mobile device, such as a cell phone, iTouch, or other web-enabled palm device, is trying to access the website.  Then the Mowser service automatically reformats the way the site looks on the fly to make it a little more manageable on a small-screened device.

For those of us who scored a iPhone or iTouch this holiday season (as I did thanks to my lovely wife), you may want to still use regular web formatting while using what I call the Apple “Zoomclaw” technique (where you put your index finger together with your thumb - like a claw - and by either dragging your fingers together or apart you are able to zoom in on a particular area of the page).  If you do want to look like an iPhone-wielding crustacean, you can easily go back to the normal full-formated mode by selecting the “view normal page here” link at the bottom of the mobilized page view.
