itSMF Macedonia becomes 46th member of the itSMF Community

The itSMF International Executive Board have approved the Chapter of Macedonia as the 46th member of the itSMF community.
The Founding meeting and Launch event on 3rd October 2007 was opened by Mr. David Wheeldon, from UK, who is a former president of itSMF International and co-author of ITIL (IT infrastructure Library) – best practices in IT Service Management, that was initiated by the Government of United Kingdom. Mr. Wheeldon introduced the best practices and shared his views about the future of IT service management.
In the greetings for the founding of itSMF Маcedonia, Mr. Wheeldon was joined by Mr. Benjamin Orazem from itSMF Slovenia and Mr. William Bello from itSMF Croatia. Mr. Orazem talked about the importance of active participation of the members in the newly founded itSMF Macedonia by saying “the more you put in, the more you get”. Mr. Bello talked about the possibilities for joint activities of the three neighbouring associations, especially in the organization of regional conferences, joint publication and bilateral cooperation.
