Over the last few days this week, I described three scenarios and the difficult decisions Project Managers made in each of the three.  In the first, the desire for more responsibility might bery well have led to less effectiveness.In the second, the desire to keep her job, led to deceptiuon and lies of ommission.  In the third scenario, wanting to do the best job possible, led to rejecting the opportunity for more responsibility - and possibily more salary.  Instead, Patal Fray decided to do the best job he could do, and in that process, helped one of his direct reports grow professionally. The decision is always yours to make - what are your primary values and how do they impact the work-decisions you make?
